What is 21 Things for 21st Century Educators?
The purpose of this resource is to provide ”Just in Time” training through an online interface for K-12 educators based on the National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T).

Accessing Course Materials
Most of the coursework will be found on the website "21 Things for the 21st Century Educator." Click on the "21 Things" logo to the right and you will to go to that website.
To access the live virtual session link and the virtual session recordings, click on this link or use the "Virtual Sessions" tab above.
In the "Materials" section below you will be able to download a complete list of all assignments as well as a copy of the 21 Things portfolio worksheet that you will use to submit the screenshots of your work and your reflections on that work

Course Schedule
Our Fall 2011 course will begin with a face to face session October 4th, 2011 at the Saginaw Transitions Center. Please contact Danielle Letter dletter@sisd.cc or the SISD at 989-399-SISD(7473). If you are a district that would like to bring the 21 Things Course to you, email Danielle for details.
Complete Requirements for SB-CEUs
SB-CEUs for this course are pending. Upon approval by the Michigan Department of Education we will be able to give 6.5 CEUs to participants who fulfill all of the requirements.
1. Download and complete the SB-CEU application form and follow the guidelines established by Saginaw County Schools.
2. Download and complete the 21 Things Time Log of your time spent on 21 Things for the SB-CEUs.
3. Download, complete and submit (by the ending date of the session you are enrolled in) a 21 Things Portfolio Worksheet for each of the 21 Things Hands-on Activities and Assignments. The worksheets will include screen shots and reflections for each of the 21 Things. (Note: The Hands-On Activities and Assignments are found at the bottom of each web page. A complete list of the assignments is provided in the Materials section below.) The combination of your 21 Things Portfolio Worksheets and Hands-On Activities and Assignments constitute the complete portfolio that will be used to document your successful completion.
4. Upon completion of each group of seven portfolio/assignments, email your document(s) to Danielle Letter through the Moodle Course.
5. Complete the Course Evaluations and submit them.

Course Evaluation
All participants will be required to complete an evaluation, to meet the SB-CEU requirement, and provide feedback and suggestions for future improvement.
